Zeph E. Daniel, who is married to Patricia Daniel, is a screenwriter, producer, director, and co-founder of Crazed House, an independent production company, studio, and multimedia brand. Originally working in Hollywood under the name Woody Keith, he wrote the screenplays for cult horror classics including Society, Bride of Re-Animator, and Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation.

He eventually stepped away from the studio system to pursue a more personal creative path under the name Zeph E. Daniel. Beyond filmmaking, Zeph is an accomplished music producer, mastering consultant, and published author. For more than two decades he has hosted The Zeph Report, a popular podcast and Substack broadcast with a dedicated following that explores spiritual, cultural, and controversial topics.
His body of work includes the feature films Girl Next (2021) and The Quantum Devil (2023), the award-winning documentary The Darkside of Society, and a special edition novelization of Society co-authored with Brian Yuzna. He is currently leading the launch of Crazed House Books, beginning with his new novel Black Door. The imprint is also bringing the Girl Next novelization to North American audiences for the first time, while preparing re-releases of his acclaimed novels Glass Backwards and Lamb.

On the cinematic front, his upcoming feature The Season of the Boar marks Zeph’s highly anticipated return to the director’s chair on a project he is both writing and directing.
